As we’ve written on our blog, and across this website, (arguably, ad nauseum), we are an outsourced product development services company. But, recently, as I was nursing a whiskey on my back patio with Buddy, a black lab-golden retriever mix, during a rare warm, New England February evening, I was thinking about what that really means.
Our market is complex, and “outsourced product development services company” means a lot of things. I saw a page for the Grand View Research Medical Device Outsourcing market that reports the lion’s share of the market is contract manufacturing. That’s not what we do.
We’re the company that gets the call when a new, complex product for the medical device market needs to be developed. “Complex” would be hardware, software, embedded programming and other complicated technologies that need to work together. Not a boot.
We’ve navigated the highly complex and often frustrating regulatory process to get the multitude of documents ready for submittal. We understand how verification works and can rattle off the impacted UL, CE, IEC, and ISO industry standards that must be met to get that product to market.
When we aren’t developing complex medical devices, we’re applying our unique vision expertise to solving problems across industries. We’re one of the few companies to successfully develop and implement a custom camera that’s able to take 5000 frames per second and perform real-time processing.
Projects in trouble are a specialty for us. We’ve helped large companies that got lost in the mire of development and couldn’t find a path to completion, and small companies that started to feel the heat from their board of directors to meet milestones.
So, what’s it like to work with Resolution? You’ll get a team that’s ready to listen and understand your vision, where you are currently, where you want to be, what’s the cost, and other constraints. We can put a plan together using a quality system that’s passed Fortune 500 company audits that will get to you your goal.?? We’ll be upfront and pragmatic with time and resource requirements. AND- if you aren’t allergic, Buddy often attends our meetings.
It’s like we say on our website, great concepts are born…great products are developed.
